Ouch… 5’9″, 184 pounds. That puts me at a 27 on the BMI chart. Though my bodyfat is in the lower double digits (about 13%), being this heavy is NOT very healthy for my endurance sports endeavors; no joint will last forever and the hips, knees, and feet will wear out faster when you’re heavier!! I had my personal best times for triathlon and marathons when I was weighing in at about 165 pounds and that was almost 20 years ago. I’m pretty confident that I can get there with this vegan lifestyle… actually, I think I can even do better!
The initial stats are out and they can only get better from here.
